Well, yet another of our favorite people is off on a new adventure. Our former hired-gun kid entertainer is moving to Korea to teach English just months after returning from an epic backpacking trip through South America. You can read about Andy's adventures here. We're trying to connect him with our friends Jina, Jung Eun, and Daniel who were here at the University (well, Jina, the mom, was studying there) for a couple of years a while ago.
Although R's a little bitter about his departure, he very much enjoys commenting on Andy's blog to let him know just how dorky R thinks he must look in a cowboy hat. These two buddies plan to get together one more time before Andy leaves -- and R assures me that it needs to be without me. I get it -- having mommy around does kind of cramp a happenin' young adventurer's style (and R wouldn't like it either). They are working on various plans for finding long-lost treasures, saving the world's least fortunate citizens, and buying some wii games with what's left. That must be some treasure. To that plan I say "Go for it!" Where would we be without dreams?
So, farewell Andy! Don't you dare leave without coming to see R. I can't bear an entire year of his grumblings.
