We had a rainy, chilly weekend. The gloominess provided a nice backdrop to C's (really enjoyable) youth orchestra concert but otherwise I'm completely over the gloom. If it's going to be this dreary out, there should at least be towering douglas fir trees, banana slugs, and a sexy vampire (or werewolf... not picky) or two hanging around.
The good news is that being stuck inside all weekend gave me a pretty decent case of cabin fever so I'm sure to race around doing a manic housecleaning mission today. By tomorrow, it'll be hot and humid and I'll be complaining about that. It's just such an oddity to be pulling more mushrooms than dandelions!
After I get that burst of housecleaning out of my system (11 a.m. at the latest... who do you think I am after all?), C and I plan to finish watching Sense and Sensibility. I love that movie.
Great movie. Great way to spend the day - aside from the house cleaning. That part sucks.
