Today at school, a particularly nasty classmate of C's started a rumor about C and one of her platonic male friends. Today after school, rather than collapse into a puddle of angst, C posted this following message to Google Buzz:

Dear Friends - I am dating every boy at my school (and several other boys in the tri-state area). I am also dating Zac Efron, President Obama, Elmo, and all of the Teletubbies.

Piper said it so it must be true.

Did I ever mention that I unabashedly read all of her electronic communication? I don't think it's spying since she knows I do it. Usually it's stuff like "I like chocolate" or some stupid forwarded message about "if you don't send this message spilling some kind of personal confession your crush will like the girl you can't stand" or "don't break the chain or you will end up like Maria" but every once in a while I get to read a little gem like this one. Priceless.
