In 42 minutes I will be 40. I'm waiting up so I can pick C and her girlfriends up from the cheap theater there they're watching Zac Efron... doesn't matter what movie it is, he plays pretty much the same character in every movie and that character is "dude with abs" - not that there's anything wrong with that!
It's kind of surreal to be the waiter-upper rather than the stayer-outer particularly because those days don't feel all that far off for me. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely feel 40 but that doesn't mean I've forgotten what it felt like to be 14.
I'm proud of where I am, what I'm doing, and who I'm doing it with. Happy Birthday to me!
