Why? You ask? Turns out a Wahoo's is opening here in town!!!! If you're non-plussed by that announcement, you've either never eaten at Wahoo's (so sorry) or you don't like their food (dumbass). I might have to get a second job. We might need to move further south and east so C and I can walk there. Or maybe we'll just gorge ourselves for the first few weeks and then get a grip. Maybe.
In other news, it's snowing. That's good. It hasn't been doing much of that lately.

In awesome musical news, the stars aligned (with craigslist, grandma and grandpa, a few friends with strong backs), the heavens parted, and a Hammond organ now lives at our house. It's a 1959 M-3, otherwise known as the "baby B3", it's wicked awesome, didn't cost an an arm, a leg, and a kidney, and C messed around with it last night until she learned her first organ tune, "Aura Lee". She'll soon be rockin' some of
this,
this, and, in a few months (I kid), some of
this.

So there you have it: (1) fish tacos, (2) snow, (3) bring earplugs next time you visit (that organ ain't no shrinking violet).
You've got to be kidding me. Not only did you get an organ (what?) but you're getting a Wahoos?! Frick. Double frick.
ReplyDeleteThe emerging organ obsession is a direct result of going to the percussion thing in Indiana -- world-famous drummer gives clinic along with his trio, C thinks drummer rocks but pays all of her attention to the organ player.
ReplyDeleteLife's an adventure!
Oh yeah, and - neener neener re: fish tacos.
