Crevasse? What crevasse?

Let's just call it a clean slate. That sounds so much better than "surface of the moon" or "post-napalm" - clean slate. Got it? Next, we have to let everything dry out (from the *gasp* effluent that leaked out into the soil and from the water they used to settle the backfill), re-grade (love that large equipment), and get a new patio poured. But, for today, we're ignoring it completely.

R and Grandpa are headed to the slopes (before tomorrow's forecast blizzard - kind of ironic that it's so much nicer to ski when it isn't snowing), C and Dad - who took the rest of the week off - are planning an epic bike ride (to Dairy Queen and back), and A, Grandma, and I are planning to shop for appliances for their new house and probably eat something exotic (possibly in Boulder - goody goody goody!). We might even walk to the park.

I hope you had a great St. Patty's Day. I intended to drink a Guinness but watched the Bourne Supremacy and nodded off to sleep instead. Now I'm officially late to plant peas and potatoes. Do you think the leprechauns did it for me? Fingers crossed.

  1. I made a sad face for you. And at first, I was really quite sad when I saw what that backhoe did your backyard... but then I saw the possibilities unfold and now, I'm quite excited for you! Oh, what you could do with that clean slate.... Oh, oh, oh!

When you get to Bolder send me a taco 'kay? Thanks, you're sweet like that.
