The kids are back to school. The house is a mess. I'm kind of glad because I might miss the little buggers if I didn't have such a clear task ahead of me today. The clothes washer and dishwasher have already been working overtime. The vacuum had better get some rest - it has no idea what's ahead.
The dog is reveling in the lack of kids today. She has a morning of sheep chasing, stuffed animal shredding, and uninterrupted napping planned. A dog's life indeed!
Yawn.
