No soup for you.

Because we ate it all.

I've been trying to make more of our meals (which has been a challenge with our right-at-dinnertime swim practice schedule). Soup is my favorite food group (and it should be everyone else's, too) so last night I took some vege broth, some taters, a bunch of spinach, and some sour cream and came up with a delicious soup that I served with some ad-hoc sweet potato biscuits. A declared the biscuits to be "faboo" and R and C thought they were gross. Mr. K ate a few because you know, carbs+K = Love.

No recipes because I don't use them much. The purpose of this post is to encourage everyone to go make soup and, if it turns out well and doesn't have big chunks of pork in it, bring me a bowl.

Nothing too exciting this weekend - R has a b-ball game, A has grand plans for a treasure map, and C has music, music, and more music. Tonight is the sock hop at R and A's school and C and some girlfriends are going to see Little Fockers at the cheap theater after swim practice.

It's time to clean. If you don't hear from me soon, call Merry Maids and hire them to dig me out. I would be forever grateful.
