Late last night, after finishing some obsessive pre-party cleaning (because those 11-year-olds are real 'white-glovers'), I snapped a couple of pictures of the living room. I'm really happy with how the bookcase and slipcovers have improved the room. I can't find the "before" picture right now but I will add it when I do. We are very fortunate to have some of K's talented family's artistic creations to hang on our walls and display in the bookcase. It is so nice to have all of our books and CDs in one place - cuts down on the clutter everywhere else!
Off to get ready for C's graduation and the party that will follow - wish me luck in avoiding the "ugly cry" and relaxing enough to enjoy all of the people at our house today.
